Who are we ?
Founded in 1903 by the Sisters of Saint Joseph and with more than 120 years of experience, the Institut International de Lancy (IIL) is recognized for its academic excellence. Welcoming over 1500 students from more than 90 nationalities, IIL is a leading international school offering innovative and bilingual education to students aged 3 to 19 on its campus in Geneva.
“In a connected and changing world, it is essential to provide for the educational needs of everyone beyond the walls of the school. A pioneer for many years in the uses of digital technology and in educational innovation, we have created IIL Online in 2020, thus putting our skills at the service of distance learning. Thanks to this virtual campus, we offer individualized support for each student by providing adapted online courses based on the best quality standards of private schools in Switzerland”, declares Monique Roiné, Director General of IIL.
At primary level, our students follow the programmes of the French National Education or the British system. In secondary school, they are prepared for the following diplomas: French National Diploma (diplôme national du brevet), French Baccalaureate (baccalauréat français), International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), and Advanced Bilingual IB Diploma.
