Digital skills certification

Does your child wish to improve and validate their digital skills? Teachers at the Institut International de Lancy accompany them in preparing for and taking the PIX certification.

IIL Online

Digital Skills certification

The PIX certification is an integral part of the academic curriculum and is recognized by universities and the professional world. It validates digital skills, in accordance with the European Digital Competence Framework DigComp, and covers 5 main areas:

* Information and data,
* Communication and collaboration,
* Content creation,
* Protection and security,
* Digital environment.

IIL Online offers certification preparation courses, individual or in small groups (6 students maximum), by videoconference with a qualified teacher.

Two levels of certification are offered.

Video conferencing tool

To deliver its online courses, IIL Online relies on IIL’s know-how and expertise in new technologies and provides all the equipment and support your child needs.

Zoom is the application used for all our videoconferencing lessons

With its simple, modern and ergonomic design, this tool combines online meetings and secure instant messaging. It can be used on a computer as well as on a tablet or a smartphone. 

In addition, Zoom offers a wide range of collaborative features: 

  • screen sharing for presentations
  • file sharing 
  • interactive and collaborative whiteboard to allow brainstorming and structuring ideas from a distance

Participants can also use instant messaging during videoconferences to communicate in parallel with the meeting. In addition, Zoom provides customised backgrounds or virtual sets in which the user’s image is automatically integrated as they move.
