Language certification

Would your child like to improve their language skills and prepare for certification of their level in a foreign language? The Institut International de Lancy’s qualified teachers will help them prepare for their exams.

IIL Online

Language certification

IIL Online offers individual or small group classes (maximum of 6 students) via live video conference with a native-speaking teacher. 

We provide certification preparation in various foreign languages in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) by the Council of Europe.

The Institut International de Lancy is not an examination centre. You are therefore responsible for registering for the certification tests and for the associated costs.

Languages offered

  • English : Cambridge certification from A2 to C1
  • French as a Foreign Language : DELF certification from A2 to C1
  • Spanish : DELE certification from A2 to C1
  • German : Goethe certification from A2 to C1
  • Chinese : HSK certification from A2 to C1

Based on a previous certification or a positioning test, the student will be placed in the appropriate skills level.

Zoom is the application used for all our videoconferencing lessons

With its simple, modern and ergonomic design, this tool combines online meetings and secure instant messaging. It can be used on a computer as well as on a tablet or a smartphone. 

In addition, Zoom offers a wide range of collaborative features: 

  • screen sharing for presentations
  • file sharing 
  • interactive and collaborative whiteboard to allow brainstorming and structuring ideas from a distance

Participants can also use instant messaging during videoconferences to communicate in parallel with the meeting. In addition, Zoom provides customised backgrounds or virtual sets in which the user’s image is automatically integrated as they move.
